I am a 35 year old stay-at-home mom to a persnickety, sleep-hating, truck-loving, high energy 2 year old.  I am originally from Pennsylvania, but we have moved around a bit and have called Colorado and North Carolina home. We have called the Bluegrass home for 4 years now and are slowly making it our home. We share our home with an awesome lab mix named Lou.

Motherhood is hard. Really hard. Really, really hard. And, being a first-time mom in a new area, I realized how hard it can be to find information about restaurants that are kid-friendly and also worth eating at, the best parks to play, and the general low-down on what to do in Lexington and the surround areas with kids in tow. Hopefully, this blog will give you some insight and make motherhood just a tad bit easier.  Because, sometimes it is a long time until bedtime.
