It Takes a Village- Just the Essentials

It is no secret that my son is a super crappy sleeper. So, I am one tired mom all the time. We have tried just about everything under the sun. Blackout curtains? Doubled up and check. Noice machine? Check. Certain fabrics for his clothing and bedding? Check. Everything except essential oils. They have been suggested to us many times, but every time I look into them I am overwhelmed with all the information. And, this is especially tricky because I know not all essential oils are safe for younger kids.

My concern with finding good information about the safe use of essential oils is one of the reasons that Andrea started Just the Essentials, LLC. She said that she "was very frustrated with a lot of the information on essential oils I was seeing, a lot of it was downright dangerous, and often involved children or pregnant women. I decided I wanted to get aromatherapy certification and get an in depth education about essential oils, how to use them, and how to blend. So I did the aromatherapy certification and started my own business." When she began her company in 2014, her goal was to provide safe information and high quality oils at affordable prices. We have 2 year molars that are dragging their feet coming through and making my dude uncomfortable. And, with him starting school, we need everything we can get to reduce the buckets of snot that are coming our way. I have tried them all out now and cannot believe I waited so long! I use the linen spray on a washcloth and place it next to his bed and I feel like it has helped. Does he sleep through the night? Yeah, nope. But, he goes to sleep a bit quicker and definitely goes back to sleep a bit easier than he was. And, to a sleep deprived mom, even small improvements are huge. I try not to give too much medicine when I don't have to since it tends to upset my sons stomach. So, I love having the Tooth Fairy Blend roller ball.
